I'm back, wow what a few days, as you can see a fair amount of car time but also 2 fantastic weddings, Friday I was in the lovely Nerja for the wedding of Ian and Julie, what a fantastic occasion, I mean how often do you get to see the groom in a kilt on the beach, not often but all to be revealed here soon, thanks guys I had a great day and really looking froward to processing the images and that game of golf Ian promised me :-)
Saturday, well a long drive up the coast through the Costa Tropical and past Almeria, as many of you know I am a fan of driving so I really enjoyed the trip, the changing landscape on the way is really incredible, from the acres and acres of farms on the way up to Almeria growing a variety of fruits and vegetables under enormous greenhouses is quite a site, then before you know it you are quite literally in the desert, the inland area around Almeria used to film alot of spaghetti westerns, the landscape like is a slightly miniature version of Nevada.
The wedding of Nicki and Bobby was one I had been looking forward to for ages and after spending some time driving around the beautiful city of Cartagena (not intentionally I was lost, as you do...) on the Spanish coast I finally stumbled across La Azhoia.
The tiny sleepy village had been taken over by the families and the ceremony on Saturday on the beach was stunning, paella, fireworks, and the release of lanterns over the sea was really an amazing site,
Thank-you all so much for your wonderful hospitality and hope to catch up with you in November, enjoy the honeymoon xx
So there you go, if you thought I was lying by the pool sipping mojitos, oh no .......
ALOT of images to come so please bear with me.
